HEY. I'M DAMON.
(And since we're on a first name basis, it's pronounced Lav-rinse.)
I'm a recovering journalist with over a decade of experience reporting on the convergence of transportation and technology, with editorships at WIRED, Gawker, Time, and AOL.
After a stint advising mobility companies on communications and strategy, I moved in-house. First, managing comms at Automatic (acquired by SiriusXM), followed by technology and product communications at NIO U.S., and eventually landing at Samsung Electronics to work on innovation, investment, and M&A communications.
I’m currently leading communications at Ouster and based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
